Put down the mop.

Lose the “Shoulds.”

Resist the Michael’s Mafia.

Phone a friend.

2014 Resolutions

NYRDo you make resolutions? Inspired by the lessons I’ve learned from the women I met both while writing Mogul, Mom & Maid, and on the road speaking to women about the book, I compiled a list of 10 New Year’s Resolutions for Working Mothers. You can view the list on The Huffington Post.

The green room at Good Day Sacramento

A Long December: Just back from a whirlwind “mogul” week in California for work and book and looking forward to focusing on the “mom” once I finish the “maid” duties pre-Christmas. I met with the wonderful women of WITI San Diego to discuss work/life balance and then I headed to Sacramento for a segment on Good Day Sacramento about staying sane during the holidays. You can view the clip here.

Stranded without a car, I hopped a train and bus back to San Francisco. Then I lucked out when a stretch limo driver offered my coworker and me a ride to the airport. Just another crazy week in the life of a working mother. limo
